It took me about three weeks to take the decision to have them fitted and the difference was quite scary as I had never understood why people said that my car radio was loud on 9 until I had my hearing aids in and brought the level down to 6. I am the minute taker at the agency where I work and I was always able to get the gist of what was being said but once the hearing aids were in I heard very much more specific things which was quite a revelation to me.
